AVIF to JPG Converter
AVIF to JPG Converter decodes one static AVIF locally and exports an opaque JPEG without uploading the source.
Purpose and limits
What this tool does
Convert one static AVIF image into a broadly compatible JPEG.
- Input
- One static 8-, 10- or 12-bit AVIF up to 25 MiB and 16.7 million decoded pixels.
- Result
- One lossy 8-bit sRGB JPEG with transparency flattened onto white and metadata removed.
How to use it
- Choose one local static AVIF within the fixed limits.
- Review the lossy white-background warning and process locally.
- Preview and download the resulting JPEG.
Limitations
- Animated AVIF is rejected before codec processing.
- JPEG is lossy; alpha is flattened onto white and metadata and Display-P3 profiles are removed.
- The self-hosted Worker/WASM runtime loads after explicit processing; physical mobile-device support is not claimed.
